One of the coolest thing in the Bible is that the story of Jesus' life, mission, death & resurrection is told in 4 different ways.
That is why we have the the 4 Gospels, each according to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
Each book has its own style and tells the story a little differently.
This is because the Gospels were written by 4 different persons, with different emphasis, to be read by 4 different groups of audiences.
For example, Matthew wrote his gospel to the Jews in a teacher-like style, which emphasizes Jesus as the Messiah - the Saviour and King predicted in the Old Testament many hundred years ago.
While Mark targeted the non-Jewish people as his audience, whom he presented Jesus as the Servant of God. Mark emphasized JC's miracles and actions in a storytelling style.
Dr Luke wrote like a careful historian, addressing to the Greeks, that JC was the Son God, who also was fully man.
John's gospel is meant for all Christians everywhere. His writings' greatest emphasis was that belief in Jesus Christ is only way to salvation.
When we combine the 4 gospel stories, we get a rich, multifaceted and powerful storyline that tells us about God's awesome love and personality through the person of His Son, Jesus.
Really, the most unbelievable thing in the Gospels was how Jesus came and turn everything upside down, culminating with His daring rescue mission to save us, doomed blur wandering souls.
